Selecting the right ISO 9001 quality standard, including appropriate exclusions, is the starting point for implementing a quality system that defines you. Registration using an accredited Registrar, using competent Lead Auditors and designing the audit process to meet your needs including cost, timing and a working relationship are all key to making the system work for you.
Released November 2008, ISO 9001 provides the framework of a quality system. Major processes include:
- Section 4 - Quality Management System
- Section 5 - Management Responsibility
- Section 6 - Resources Management
- Section 7 - Product and Service Realization
- Section 8 - Measurement, Analysis and Improvement
The Quality System Assessment and Registration Process
is not that difficult.
- Step 1 - Request a quotation and sign the agreement
- Step 2 - Submit your documentation and we will review and provide a report (an on-site visit may be required).
- Step 3 - Prepare for the Registration Assessment (Time is dependent upon the number of employees/locations that you have, the type of processes that you are in control of, etc - No surprises here, it is all covered in the quote).
- Step 5 - Correct any deficiencies noted by the audit team.
- Step 6 - Receive your certificate and Congratulations!
